Human Resources Manager – Luxury Restaurant Group | Los Angeles, CA

A prestigious high-end restaurant group is seeking a Human Resources Manager to support its growing operations in Los Angeles, California.

We are looking for a hands-on HR professional who can independently manage the local HR function while partnering closely with Corporate HR leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the full scope of HR operations, including employee relations, recruitment, onboarding, performance management, training, engagement, and compliance.
• Partner with restaurant leadership on people-related initiatives and business needs.
• Implement and improve HR policies, processes, and programs.
• Provide guidance to managers and employees on HR practices and employment matters.
• Monitor employee engagement, turnover, and organizational needs.
• Support compensation, benefits, and HR compliance initiatives.
• Partner with Corporate HR on company-wide programs and strategic initiatives.

Requirements:

• HR experience within high-end restaurants, fine dining, or premium restaurant operations.
• Previous HR experience in Los Angeles/California is strongly preferred, with solid knowledge of California employment laws and regulations.
• 4+ years of progressive HR experience.
• Experience as an HR Manager, HR Business Partner, Senior HR Generalist, or similar role.
• Strong hands-on experience across the full HR function and ability to work independently.
• Strong employee relations and business partnering skills.
• Experience with HRIS, payroll, ATS, and HR technology.
• Excellent communication, organization, judgment, and problem-solving skills.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
