A dynamic and internationally recognized hospitality group is seeking a Human Resources Manager to join its growing team in New York City.
This is an exciting opportunity for an HR professional who thrives in fast-paced, people-first environments and is passionate about employee experience, workplace culture, compliance, and operational excellence.
The ideal candidate is organized, collaborative, solutions-oriented, and comfortable partnering with leadership teams across a multi-unit hospitality organization. This role will play a key part in supporting employees, strengthening culture, and driving HR initiatives that positively impact the business.
What You’ll Do
- Manage day-to-day HR operations including onboarding, offboarding, compensation, benefits, leave administration, employee relations, performance management, and compliance
- Serve as a trusted advisor to managers and employees across multiple departments
- Handle employee relations matters, investigations, conflict resolution, and performance-related conversations
- Support recruiting and staffing efforts including interview coordination and hiring processes
- Help drive employee engagement, recognition, and culture-building initiatives
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and HR best practices
- Support compensation and wage administration processes
- Maintain a strong HR presence throughout the organization through regular communication and partnership with operational leaders
- Assist with workplace safety initiatives and reporting procedures
- Support training, development, and leadership growth initiatives
What We’re Looking For
- 5+ years of Human Resources experience; hospitality, restaurant, hotel, or luxury service experience strongly preferred
- Previous HR management or leadership experience preferred
- Experience supporting a large non-exempt workforce
- Strong understanding of employee relations, HR compliance, and labor practices
- Exceptional communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
- High emotional intelligence with a collaborative and service-oriented mindset
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Must be able to work onsite five days per week
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary range: $75,000 – $90,000
