HR Manager

Position Overview

The HR Manager supports food and beverage operations within a Human Resources and Talent Management function. This role partners with operational leaders to support workforce planning, staffing, onboarding, employee engagement, and organizational effectiveness in a fast-paced, frontline environment.

The position oversees employee relations, performance management, workforce compliance, talent development, and change initiatives designed to improve retention, employee performance, and operational outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with operational leaders on workforce planning, staffing, and organizational needs.
  • Lead and support employee onboarding and engagement initiatives.
  • Manage employee relations matters and provide guidance on workplace policies and practices.
  • Support performance management processes and help leaders address performance concerns.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable employment, labor, and workplace safety requirements.
  • Develop and implement talent development initiatives.
  • Support succession planning and workforce development strategies.
  • Lead or contribute to organizational change initiatives.
  • Promote a positive, inclusive, and high-performing workplace culture.
  • Provide HR guidance to frontline and operational teams.
  • Analyze workforce trends and identify opportunities to improve retention and employee performance.
  • Collaborate with leadership and HR teams on strategic people initiatives.
  • Support business growth through effective talent and workforce management.

Qualifications

  • Experience in human resources, employee relations, talent management, or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of HR practices, employment regulations, and workplace policies.
  • Experience supporting operational or frontline workforces.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to advise managers and operational leaders on employee-related matters.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Experience with performance management and employee development.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential employee information professionally.
