HR Partner (Temporary Assignment, 9–12 Months)

We are seeking an HR Partner to join our North America People & Organization team based in Princeton, New Jersey. This is a hybrid, 9–12-month temporary assignment to provide maternity leave coverage and will report to the P&O Partner, North America.
As an HR Partner, you will play a pivotal role in partnering with business leaders, employees, Centers of Excellence, and HR Shared Services to execute people initiatives that enable business success. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving employee experience, talent and performance processes, employee relations, engagement initiatives, organizational effectiveness, and change management efforts while ensuring a high standard of execution across the employee lifecycle.
People Strategy & Business Partnership
- Partner with the P&O Partner and business leaders to execute people and organization plans aligned with business priorities.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to managers and employees on people-related matters.
- Translate business needs into actionable HR solutions and interventions.
- Support implementation of strategic HR initiatives across assigned business groups.
Employee Experience & Engagement
- Lead the employee engagement action planning process. Provide regular updates to senior leadership on progress made.
- Partner with communications to design plans to drive employee engagement. Establish baseline and targets for improvement.
- Facilitate employee listening activities, including focus groups, surveys, and feedback sessions.
- Utilize employee feedback and engagement data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
- Partner with leaders to create and implement plans that strengthen team effectiveness and employee experience.
- Support employee communications and change management initiatives.
- Champion Dr. Reddy's culture, values, and employee value proposition.
Talent Management & Performance Enablement
- Support execution of performance management processes, including goal setting, mid-year reviews, year-end discussions, and calibration activities.
- Partner with managers in identifying talent development opportunities and workforce capability needs.
- Assist in talent review and succession planning processes.
- Support implementation of leadership development and capability-building programs.
- Provide coaching and guidance to managers on talent management best practices.
Employee Relations & Compliance
- Provide proactive HR guidance and support on employee relations matters.
- Partner with leaders to address employee concerns, conduct investigations, and resolve workplace issues.
- Support performance improvement and corrective action processes when necessary.
- Ensure compliance with employment laws, company policies, and ethical standards.
- Manage sensitive employee matters with professionalism, confidentiality, and sound judgment.
- Partner with Legal and Compliance teams when required.
Organizational Change & Project Management
- Support organizational change initiatives, including restructures, integrations, organizational redesigns, and business transformation efforts.
- Develop and execute change management plans to support business objectives.
- Lead or participate in HR projects and cross-functional initiatives.
- Identify opportunities to improve HR processes and employee experience.
- Support implementation of enterprise-wide HR programs and initiatives.
HR Process Ownership
- Drive consistent execution of key HR processes across assigned client groups.
- Monitor metrics, trends, and feedback to continuously improve HR practices.
- Partner closely with HR Shared Services to ensure effective employee support and issue resolution. Act as a liaison between the business and HR Shared Services / Centers of Excellence.
- Ensure timely completion of employee lifecycle activities and adherence to established standards.
Early in Career
- Own the Early in Career programs and planning cycle for the 2027 academic year.
- Target universities and participate in career fairs as required.
- Ensure a robust pipeline of intern talent by proactively sourcing where required, ensuring timely review of resumes and interviews.
- Onboard new interns and create the engagement calendar.
- Work with the CEO to refine the Industry Experience Program, aimed at supporting employee’s high school students with on-the-job experience at Dr. Reddy’s.
Qualifications – Required
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, or related field.
- 5+ years of progressive Human Resources experience, preferably in an HR Business Partner or HR Generalist capacity.
- Strong working knowledge of employee relations, performance management, talent management, and employee engagement.
- Demonstrated ability to build trusted relationships with leaders and employees.
- Excellent communication, influence, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong project management and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- High degree of professionalism, discretion, and confidentiality.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and HR systems.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting commercial, corporate, or professional business functions.
- Experience leading organizational change initiatives.
- HR certification (SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR) preferred.
- Experience working within a matrixed, global organization.
- Knowledge of SAP SuccessFactors or similar HRIS systems.
