Position Title: Logistics Specialist I

Location: Chicago IL 60638

Duration: 03 months Contract on W2 (Possible extension)

Position Description:

Job Responsibilities:

• Maintain accurate logistics documentation for inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring proper filing, tracking, and accessibility
• Coordinate and execute customer shipments, including small parcel preparation and resolution of delivery or shipment discrepancies in partnership with Customer Service.
• Monitor and follow up on non-deliveries, ensuring timely escalation and resolution.
• Communicate shipping schedule changes to the logistics department and planning department.
• Perform additional duties as required to support business operations.

Required Skills:

• Proficient in MS Office
• Experience with shipping and receiving
• Clerical experience
• Inventory Accuracy
• Shipping and Receiving
• Warehouse Management System (WMS)

Preferred Skills:

• Inventory Experience
• Inbound & Outbound load experience
• Carrier & dock coordination

Education/Experience Requirement:

• 1+ years of shipping and receiving, warehouse environment

Education Preferred:

• High School/GED

Interaction level with Mgmt/Team members:

• 3 additional team members
