Position Overview

The Office Assistant will help keep daily office operations running smoothly by supporting administrative tasks, maintaining organized records, assisting employees and visitors, and completing general office projects. The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, tech-savvy, and willing to jump in wherever needed.

Responsibilities Of The Office Assistant

  • Provide general administrative and clerical support to the office.
  • Answer and route incoming phone calls and emails.
  • Assist with data entry and maintain accurate records.
  • Scan, copy, file, and organize documents.
  • Prepare correspondence and basic reports.
  • Coordinate conference rooms and assist with meeting preparation.
  • Receive and distribute mail, packages, and deliveries.
  • Maintain office supplies and assist with inventory.
  • Communicate professionally with employees, visitors, and vendors.
  • Assist with special projects and additional office duties as needed.

Required Experience/Skills For The Office Assistant

  • Previous office, administrative, or customer service experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Professional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Comfortable learning new technology and office systems.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Reliable, punctual, and professional.
  • Proactive, team-oriented attitude with a willingness to help wherever needed.

Education Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
