Position: Technical Lead – Pharmacy Applications
Location: Waukegan, IL

Job Summary
Seeking a Technical Lead with strong specialty pharmacy/healthcare application experience to lead application support, enhancements, integrations, and production delivery. The ideal candidate will have experience with pharmacy management platforms, prescription/pharmacy workflows, Salesforce, SAP, APIs, and ESB/middleware integrations, along with strong troubleshooting and technical leadership skills.
Must-Have Skills
- Specialty Pharmacy / Pharmacy / Healthcare application experience
- Pharmacy management platforms (ScriptMed preferred, or similar pharmacy systems)
- Pharmacy workflows: eRx, prescription processing, patient enrollment, order management/fulfillment
- Salesforce and SAP integration experience
- APIs, ESB/Middleware, and third-party system integrations
- Production support, troubleshooting, Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and defect resolution
- Technical leadership and cross-functional/vendor coordination
- Knowledge of HIPAA and healthcare/pharmacy compliance
- Surescripts / healthcare interoperability experience is a plus
Responsibilities
- Lead technical support and enhancements for pharmacy applications.
- Design and support integrations across pharmacy platforms, Salesforce, SAP, middleware, and external systems.
- Troubleshoot production issues, perform RCA, and drive defect resolution.
- Support pharmacy workflows including prescription processing, patient enrollment, and order management.
- Coordinate application releases and enhancements with business, QA, development, and vendor teams.
- Provide technical leadership and ensure stable, secure, and compliant pharmacy operations.
