Allegiance Group is partnered with a leading General Contractor specializing in high-end commercial interior projects across Manhattan. With a strong reputation for delivering complex, design-led spaces for prominent clients, they are continuing to grow their project delivery team and are looking to appoint an experienced Project Manager.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Project Manager with a strong commercial interiors background to take ownership of projects from preconstruction through completion, working alongside a highly experienced team and a portfolio of demanding, high-profile clients.

As Project Manager, you will be responsible for the successful delivery of commercial interior projects, managing the project from initial planning through to handover.

You will work closely with clients, architects, consultants, subcontractors and internal teams to ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget and to the highest standards of quality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Managing commercial interior projects from preconstruction through completion
• Taking overall responsibility for project schedule, budget, procurement and delivery
• Leading communication with clients, architects, designers, consultants and subcontractors
• Reviewing drawings, specifications, scopes and contract documents
• Managing subcontractor procurement, contracts and performance
• Overseeing RFIs, submittals, change orders and project documentation
• Monitoring project costs, schedules and progress, identifying and resolving issues proactively
• Leading regular project meetings and providing clear progress updates to stakeholders
• Coordinating multiple trades and ensuring work is executed in accordance with the project requirements
• Working closely with the Superintendent and wider project team to maintain high standards of safety, quality and workmanship
• Driving projects through closeout and successful handover

Requirements:

• 5+ years of Project Management experience within commercial construction
• Strong experience delivering commercial interior / fit-out projects
• Experience working for a General Contractor
• A strong understanding of construction processes, contracts, scheduling and cost management
• Excellent communication and client-management skills
• The ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem solving
• Experience working on projects in Manhattan / New York City is highly desirable
