Project Manager – Commercial Plumbing & Piping

East Bay / San Francisco Bay Area, CA

Salary: $120,000–$150,000+


We’re seeking an experienced Project Manager to join a well-established Bay Area plumbing and mechanical piping contractor. This person will manage commercial plumbing and piping projects from award through closeout, with full responsibility for schedule, budget, job costs and client relationships.


What You'll Do

  • Manage multiple plumbing/piping projects from award through closeout
  • Own budgets, schedules, job costing and P&L forecasting
  • Manage RFIs, submittals, procurement and change orders
  • Track labor, materials and cost-to-complete
  • Coordinate with GCs, engineers, vendors and field teams
  • Conduct regular jobsite visits throughout the Bay Area
  • Identify project risks and keep projects on schedule and profitable


What We're Looking For

  • 5+ years of plumbing/piping Project Management experience
  • Background working directly for a plumbing or mechanical contractor
  • Experience managing commercial projects in the $500K–$1M+ range
  • Strong job costing, budgeting and forecasting experience
  • Knowledge of commercial plumbing and piping systems
  • Strong communication and client-facing skills
  • Construction PM software experience
  • Valid driver's license


Nice to have: Vista Viewpoint, union construction experience, or a Construction Management/Engineering degree.

Compensation

$120K–$150K+ base, depending on experience, with bonus potential.
