BILINGUAL COMMERCIAL HVAC PROJECT MANAGER ENGLISH & CHINESE

We are seeking an experienced Bilingual Commercial HVAC Project Manager to directly manage and coordinate commercial HVAC installation projects from planning through completion.

The successful candidate must be fluent in both English and Chinese and capable of managing field crews, subcontractors, vendors, project schedules, materials, installations, and client communication.

Key Responsibilities:

• Directly manage commercial HVAC installation projects from startup through completion

• Develop and maintain project schedules, deadlines, and installation timelines

• Coordinate installers, subcontractors, vendors, general contractors, and clients

• Communicate project instructions clearly in both English and Chinese

• Translate technical and project information when necessary

• Review HVAC drawings, construction plans, specifications, submittals, and equipment schedules

• Confirm that field teams understand the approved project scope and installation requirements

• Assign work and coordinate manpower for each project

• Monitor daily project progress and address delays or field-related issues

• Conduct project meetings and site visits

• Provide regular project-status reports to senior management

• Coordinate equipment, materials, tools, and delivery schedules

• Confirm that all required materials and equipment are available before work begins

• Track project costs, labor, materials, and change orders

• Identify work outside the original scope and document it for approval

• Coordinate required inspections and project closeout requirements

• Manage punch-list work and ensure outstanding items are completed

• Review completed work for quality and compliance with project requirements

• Maintain organized project records, photographs, reports, schedules, and correspondence

• Communicate professionally with clients regarding schedules, progress, delays, and project needs

• Organize final project handoff documents, including drawings, equipment information, warranties, and service requirements

• Ensure projects are completed safely, professionally, on schedule, and according to the approved scope

Qualifications:

• Fluent in English and Chinese, including professional verbal and written communication

• Commercial HVAC project-management experience required

• Strong understanding of commercial HVAC installation and mechanical construction

• Ability to read and understand HVAC drawings, construction plans, specifications, submittals, and equipment schedules

• Experience managing field crews, subcontractors, vendors, and installation schedules

• Strong leadership, organization, communication, and problem-solving skills

• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously

• Experience tracking project costs, materials, change orders, and project documentation

• Proficient with email, spreadsheets, project schedules, and document-management systems

• Ability to travel to project sites as required

• Valid driver’s license preferred

• Must be dependable, detail-oriented, professional, and accountable for project results

Ideal Candidate:

The ideal candidate has strong commercial HVAC knowledge and can independently manage installation projects. This person should be comfortable directing English- and Chinese-speaking field personnel, coordinating all project details, resolving problems, and keeping senior management informed without requiring constant supervision.
