Pave Talent is partnering with an established manufacturer to hire a hands-on Quality Manager. This is an opportunity to lead people, strengthen everyday quality practices, and work closely with operations and engineering to improve how products are made.

You may already manage a quality team, or you may be a Quality Engineer who has earned the trust of colleagues and is ready for formal leadership. What matters is your technical judgment, follow-through, and ability to help others do their best work.

𝗪𝗵𝘆 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗿𝗼𝗹𝗲

• Take ownership of a quality function and have a direct impact on manufacturing performance.

• Stay close to the production floor while developing your people-management skills.

• Bring ideas from a structured manufacturing environment and help put them into practice.

• Work with leadership on practical improvements that make a measurable difference.

𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝘄𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝗼𝘄𝗻

• Lead and develop quality personnel, set priorities, and follow through on daily commitments.

• Partner with production and engineering to investigate problems and implement lasting corrective actions.

• Strengthen supplier quality through qualification, feedback, and collaborative problem-solving.

• Oversee inspection activities and help teams apply quality requirements consistently.

• Train and coach employees on procedures, standards, and effective quality practices.

• Use quality data to identify recurring issues, reduce avoidable cost, and improve production results.

𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗯𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴

• A bachelor's degree in engineering, materials science, physics, or a closely related technical discipline.

• Approximately five years of relevant manufacturing and quality experience, including hands-on quality engineering responsibilities.

• Experience supporting manufactured components or assemblies in a structured quality environment.

• The ability to turn a technical problem into a clear action plan and work across departments to resolve it.

• Evidence of leadership through managing people, mentoring colleagues, training teams, or leading improvement projects.

• An interest in an on-site manufacturing leadership role. Prior Quality Manager experience is welcome, but not required.

𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗲𝗻𝘀𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗯𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗳𝗶𝘁𝘀

• Base salary: $100,000-$120,000 per year, depending on experience.

• Full-time, on-site position in Orange County, California.
