Job Description: Reporting to the CEO, the Regional Manager holds a critical position within Jorgensen Company as they are expected to maintain high levels of production, sales, and excellent customer service in their area. As a Regional Manager, you are responsible for staffing, profit, performance, safety, and stability of the company. Not only being an expert in the industry, but you should also demonstrate an ongoing knowledge of the industry with continuing education and training.


Responsibilities:

· Oversee the operations of the regional office staff

· Guide, train, and manage lower-level management and supervisors

· Development and continuity of business within the region

· Maintain, procure, and expand customer base within the geographical region

· Promote corporate direction, programs, and philosophy

· Ensure that proper safety, health and business laws and regulations are adhered to

· Uphold company standards of excellence and service

· Collaborate with the CEO, other Regional Managers, and Jorgensen team members in setting and developing company goals

· Maximize company profits


Duties:

· Work with regional management to direct all service, sales, and personnel within the region

· Develop and maintain customer relations

· Ensure excellent customer service is a priority, planned for, and maintained

· Develop forecasts and plans for regional production, sales, and growth

· Oversee regional operational and production activities to work within budget and achieve forecasts

· Maintain company vehicle fleet within region

· Manage the regional safety and personnel programs for corporate compliance

· Ensure compliance with all corporate mandates, procedures, protocols, and expectations

· Ensure compliance with all applicable governmental regulations, requirements, and procedures

· Confer with CEO and Corporate Operations Manager regarding building maintenance

· Protect and preserve all company assets

· Manage and motivate personnel in a positive manner to achieve personal, regional, and corporate goals

· Solve and resolve problems, issues, disputes and challenges of customers, personnel, and managers with sound judgement to arrive at the best possible solution that is in the corporation’s best interest

· Maintain peripheral and long-range vision when making decisions

· Maintain continuity within the region of its personnel and customer base

· Sound knowledge of the company’s various products and services

· Ambition and drive as it pertains to sales and growing the region’s customer base and services

· Have a fundamental familiarization of laws, regulations and codes that impact the business

· Work with peers to maintain corporate continuity and foster productive achievements

· Organizational skills to manage large amounts of information

· Ability to multitask, meet deadlines, and work under conditions that are high in stress

· Ability to work with minimal direction


Qualifications & Requirements:

· Proficient in Excel, Word, and Adobe

· Strong math skills to accurately calculate sales orders, contracts, and regional profits

· Excellent communication skills, verbal and written

· Strong sales background

· Knowledge and experience in Fire Protection and Service Industry including portable fire extinguishers, fire alarm, Fire Sprinkler and fire suppression systems

· Detail oriented

· Minimum education level – High School graduate. College, technical school, or 5 years’ experience preferred


Additional Licenses/Certifications – A Plus:

· Fundamental understanding and working knowledge of Prophet 21

· Any Fire Safety related license/certificate such as:

o OSFM Portable Fire Extinguisher Program – Certificate of Registration Type 1, 2, 3

o OSFM Sprinkler Fitter Card

o Certified Fire Life Safety

o NICET Certified

o Manufacturer Certificates

o Fire Safety committee involvement

Salary range: $100K+ DOE

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to write, talk, and hear. The employee frequently is required to stand, walk, sit for extended periods of time and occasionally stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Ability to operate standard office equipment and use hands to operate a computer keyboard. On occasion will need to be in the field, which could involve exposure to different weather conditions and potentially noisy environments. Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds. Must also be able to drive a motor vehicle. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to focus.
