Position Summary
Our team is seeking an ambitious, metric-focused Sales Development Representative to drive outbound pipeline growth from our NY site. Serving as the primary touchpoint for prospective accounts, you will target, engage, and vet target prospects to fuel sales pipeline for senior Account Managers. This position offers an ideal career track for a sales practitioner looking to enhance top-of-funnel prospecting capabilities within the high-growth government and enterprise technology sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Uncover and initiate potential sales channels using cold calling, targeted emailing, and LinkedIn networking.
- Perform account research to locate relevant stakeholders inside public safety, civil defense, and security entities.
- Evaluate incoming and self-sourced leads, scheduling discovery sessions for the Account Executive team.
- Deploy tailored, cadence-driven outreach strategies to capture buyer interest and initiate early dialogue.
- Maintain clean records of prospect communications, pipeline velocity, and lead conversion status in our CRM.
- Partner with revenue and marketing colleagues to unify target messaging, outreach themes, and account lists.
- Utilize tech stack tools (CRM, sales engagement engines) to streamline daily outbound workflows.
- Attain or surpass recurring monthly and quarterly benchmarks for booked discovery meetings and qualified pipeline opportunities.
