About the Opportunity

We are seeking a detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join a growing finance team. This role offers broad exposure to financial reporting, project accounting, cash management, month-end close activities, and operational accounting functions. The ideal candidate is analytical, highly organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities.

Key Responsibilities

• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting processes.
• Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and general ledger analyses.
• Assist with month-end and year-end close activities to ensure timely and accurate reporting.
• Track project-related financial activity, budgets, and cost allocations.
• Assist with revenue recognition and project profitability reporting.
• Support external audits, financial reviews, and compliance requests.
• Prepare documentation required for insurance, tax, and regulatory reporting.
• Maintain and improve accounting procedures, controls, and system efficiencies.
• Partner with operations and project teams to ensure financial deliverables are completed accurately and on schedule.
• Participate in special projects and process improvement initiatives as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
• 4+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• CPA designation or CPA-track.
• Strong understanding of general ledger accounting and financial reporting.
• Proficiency with ERP/accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Self-motivated with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
