Senior Accountant

Our client, a growing public company, is seeking a Senior Accountant to join their accounting team. This role offers excellent exposure to both general ledger accounting and technical accounting and provides a clear path for advancement within the organization.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules.
• Assist with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities.
• Support financial statement preparation in accordance with U.S. GAAP.
• Research and analyze technical accounting matters and document accounting conclusions.
• Partner with internal and external auditors during quarterly and annual audits.
• Maintain and improve internal controls and accounting processes.
• Assist with SEC reporting and compliance activities as needed.
• Analyze financial results and provide reporting to management.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to support business initiatives and accounting projects.
• Utilize Workday ERP and other financial systems to ensure data integrity and reporting accuracy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 3+ years of public accounting audit experience required.
• Experience auditing public company clients is required.
• CPA designation strongly preferred.
• Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and financial reporting.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Proficiency with Excel; Workday experience is a plus.
