INTERIM SENIOR ACCOUNTING MANAGER RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Partner with Accounting leadership to oversee month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
• Ensure accurate and timely recording of financial transactions.
• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts.
• Prepare and review journal entries and adjustments.
• Prepare financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, providing accurate and timely reporting to management and stakeholders.
• Develop and implement internal control policies and procedures to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
• Supervise the accounts payable process, including invoice processing, payments, and vendor management.
• Supervise the accounts receivable function, including invoicing, collections, and credit management.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, operations, and sales, to ensure accurate financial information and support business initiatives.
• Work closely with external auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory bodies as required.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA designation is highly desirable.
• Proven experience (7+ years) in accounting, preferably in a managerial or supervisory role.
• Prior experience working within the apparel industry.
• Strong knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and financial reporting standards.
• Proficiency in SAP in addition to advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and provide meaningful insights.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate across departments and communicate financial information clearly and concisely.
