Visionet is looking for a capable finance professional based in India to serve as a US Finance Manager, responsible for managing US finance accounting and operations across its US mortgage services, financial-services-supporting products, and IT and ITeS businesses.
The role will focus on US controllership, financial reporting, Finance MIS, compliance coordination, audit and taxation support, cash flow tracking, and finance process discipline across accounts payable, accounts receivable, billing, collections, and general accounting. The ideal candidate will be hands-on, operationally strong, and comfortable working with US leadership, India finance teams, auditors, tax advisors, banks, and other external stakeholders to ensure accurate reporting, timely compliance, effective controls, and smooth day-to-day US finance operations.
Background & Experience:
- Manage India-based support for US finance accounting and operations across US mortgage services, financial-services-supporting products, IT services, ITeS operations, accounting close, reporting, compliance coordination, audit support, taxation support, and day-to-day finance governance.
- Manage controllership support for assigned US business operations, including books of accounts, month-end close, reconciliations, balance sheet reviews, accounting schedules, and financial controls.
- Prepare and support Finance MIS, management reporting, dashboards, variance analysis, cash flow updates, profitability reporting, and business performance packs for leadership reviews.
- Coordinate with external auditors, tax advisors, banks, legal, and internal stakeholders to support audits, tax filings, statutory requirements, documentation, and timely closure of open items.
- Support and improve core finance processes, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, billing, collections, cash application, vendor payments, customer invoicing, expense controls, and general ledger activities.
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, working capital tracking, cost analysis, margin reporting, and financial inputs for operational business decisions.
- Maintain coordination with US leadership, business teams, delivery teams, sales operations, HR, payroll, legal, and finance teams to support timely financial information and issue resolution.
- Contribute to standardizing and improving finance processes, controls, reporting cadence, documentation, and operating discipline across India and US finance operations.
- Exposure to intercompany transactions and transfer pricing coordination is preferred.
Preferred Competencies, Education & Experience
- 10–15 years of overall finance and accounting experience, including 8–10 years of experience supporting US finance, accounting operations, taxation, compliance, audit coordination, and related finance portfolios.
- Good controllership exposure, including month-end close, general ledger, reconciliations, balance sheet review, accounting schedules, audit support, and financial controls.
- Strong understanding of US finance accounting and operations, including revenue reporting, cost tracking, working capital, intercompany processes, US taxation coordination, audit requirements, compliance documentation, and business models across mortgage services, IT services, ITeS, and financial-services-supporting products.
- Experience preparing Finance MIS, management reports, dashboards, variance analysis, forecasts, cash flow updates, and leadership-ready financial summaries.
- Practical exposure to accounts payable, accounts receivable, billing, collections, cash application, vendor management, customer invoicing, and general finance operations.
- Ability to work effectively with US stakeholders, auditors, tax advisors, banks, business teams, and cross-functional teams across time zones.
- Strong process orientation with experience improving reporting timelines, documentation quality, controls, reconciliations, collections follow-up, and finance operating rhythms.
- Strong analytical, communication, stakeholder coordination, problem-solving, and team collaboration skills with a hands-on operating style.
- CA, CPA, MBA Finance, or equivalent finance/accounting qualification required.
