We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Financial Analyst to join our Finance team. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a deep understanding of financial principles. As a Senior Financial Analyst, you will play a crucial role in driving financial planning, analysis, and reporting to support strategic decision-making within the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Financial Analysis and Reporting: Analyze financial statements and reports to identify trends, variances, and key insights. Prepare detailed financial models and presentations to support management in decision-making.
- Budgeting and Forecasting: Lead the annual budgeting process, develop forecasts, and monitor performance against budget. Collaborate with department heads to ensure accurate projections and provide guidance on financial targets.
- Mergers and Acquisition Support - Analyze potential growth opportunities and integration of companies.
- Strategic Planning: Contribute to long-term financial planning and strategy development. Conduct scenario analysis to assess potential risks and opportunities.
- Cost Analysis and Optimization: Analyze cost structures and identify opportunities for cost reduction and efficiency improvements. Provide recommendations to management on cost-saving initiatives.
- Business Partnership: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, providing financial insights and guidance on business initiatives. Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment with financial objectives.
- Compliance and Audit Support: Ensure compliance with accounting standards, internal policies, and regulatory requirements. Assist with internal and external audits as needed.
- Ad Hoc Analysis: Conduct ad hoc financial analysis as requested by senior management to support various projects and business decisions
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. An MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
- Professional certifications such as CFA or CPA are desirable.
- A minimum of 4 years of experience in financial analysis, planning, or similar roles.
- Proficiency in financial modeling and analysis tools (e.g., Excel, financial software).
- Strong understanding of financial statements, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.
- Experience in working with ERP systems and financial reporting software.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
