Senior Payroll Specialist

Our client is an AI home healthcare provider. They seek a Senior Payroll Specialist to join their remote team.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end payroll processing for employees across multiple pay cycles and jurisdictions
• Review payroll data, earnings, deductions, taxes, and adjustments to ensure accurate and timely payments
• Maintain payroll records and ensure compliance with applicable federal, state, and local regulations
• Reconcile payroll accounts and investigate discrepancies between payroll, HR, and general ledger records
• Coordinate payroll tax filings, year-end reporting, audits, and related compliance requirements
• Administer payroll changes including new hires, terminations, promotions, compensation updates, and benefit deductions
• Partner with HR, Finance, benefits providers, and payroll vendors to resolve issues and improve processes
• Develop payroll procedures, documentation, and controls while supporting process improvements and automation

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• 3+ years of progressive payroll experience with strong knowledge of payroll processing and compliance
• Knowledge of payroll tax filings, year-end reporting, wage and hour requirements, and payroll accounting
• Recent ADP workforce experience is required
