Job Title: Process Consultant

Location: Fully Onsite in San Jose, CA

Duration: 03 - Months Contract with Possible Extension

Pay Range: $100 - $104 Per Hour on W2

Must Haves

• 7+ years of transformation experience in demand planning, logistics, operations, or tech hardware.

• Ability to develop detailed current- and future-state processes flows beyond high-level diagrams.

• Proven experience writing detailed BRDs and user stories to support system configuration and UAT

• Familiarity with Kinaxis, Blue Yonder, IBM Maximo, and ERP systems with supply chain modules.

Job Brief:

Client’s Finance Transformation program is redesigning end-to-end operational processes across hardware supply chain, logistics, and demand planning function. This consultant will serve as the primary process architect and program driver for Supply Chain workstreams, partnering directly with Cloud Operations, Finance, and cross-functional stakeholders to move from current state discovery through to a fully documented, stakeholder-validated future state design. All three workstreams — Demand Management, Logistics, and Reverse Logistics — will run in parallel throughout the engagement.

Responsibilities:

Role Requirements

• Develop detailed future state process flows for Hardware demand forecasting, Materials Requirements Planning, Logistics, Order fulfillment, Reverse Logistics

• Document design decisions and rationale around the above areas

• Maintain a comprehensive RAID log

• Translate future state process flows into detailed Business Requirements Documents (BRDs) capturing functional requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria for each workstream

• Document persona-level requirements mapping what each role (Logistics, Demand Planner, Seller) needs from the future state system and process

• Support data requirements gathering, including identifying required data elements, owners, frequency, and source systems

• Support the RFP process by providing workstream-specific vendor evaluation criteria and demo scenarios grounded in the future state design

Engagement Completion – Success Criteria

• Detailed future state Process Maps are created based on the specifications provided by the Client’s leader

• Detailed BRDs completed per workstream, sufficient to support vendor RFP

• RAID log maintained and actioned for the workstreams owned

Required Skills

• 7+ years of transformation experience in demand planning logistics, operations ideally in a technology hardware or SaaS/hardware hybrid company

• Experience supporting discovery workshops and design sessions with cross-functional, senior stakeholders

• Demonstrated ability to produce detailed current and future state process flows not just high-level diagrams

• Proven track record of writing BRDs and user stories that are detailed enough to drive system configuration and UAT

• Has actively managed risk registers, assumption logs, and dependency tracking on mid-to-large transformation programs

• Comfortable operating in ambiguity, and pushing deliverables to completion without waiting to be directed

• Familiarity with demand planning platforms (e.g., Kinaxis, Blue Yonder), IBM Maximo, and ERP systems with supply chain modules
