Senior Project Engineer - Ground up Multifamily

Our client, a well-established Developer-Builder, is seeking a Senior Project Engineer to join their team on an exciting new 384-unit mid-rise multifamily development in Millbrae, CA.

This is a fantastic opportunity to be involved from the early stages of construction on a large-scale residential project while working alongside an experienced team of construction professionals. The project consists of a modern five-story multifamily community and offers exceptional exposure to all aspects of project delivery.

Your new role

As a Senior Project Engineer, you will work closely with the Senior Project Manager and Superintendent's team to help drive the successful delivery of this high-profile development. Key responsibilities include:

• Managing RFIs, submittals, and project documentation
• Supporting project scheduling and procurement activities
• Coordinating subcontractors and field operations
• Assisting with QA/QC processes and inspections
• Tracking budgets, change orders, and project milestones
• Maintaining strong communication between office and field teams

This role offers the opportunity to gain hands-on experience throughout the entire construction life cycle while developing the skills needed to progress into Project Management.

What you'll need to succeed

• 2–4 years of construction experience with a General Contractor or Developer-Builder
• Experience on multifamily, mixed-use, podium, or commercial projects
• Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
• Experience with Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project, or similar software preferred
