An electric utility client is looking for a Talent Acquisition Senior Specialist (Recruiter) who will serves as a strategic partner responsible for identifying, attracting, and hiring top talent for a wide range of Corporate Client groups, including but not limited to IT, Cybersecurity, Enterprise Security, Engineering, Customer Service, Operational Services, Finance, and other corporate functions.

Location: Irwindale, CA 91702– Remote (Onsite as needed)
Must be local to Southern California for equipment pick up
Pay Rate: $35.14/hr. on W2
Duration: 3 months or longer
Schedule: 1st shift, M-F, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Job Overview
The Talent Acquisition Senior Specialist serves as a strategic partner responsible for identifying, attracting, and hiring top talent for a wide range of Corporate Client groups, including but not limited to IT, Cybersecurity, Enterprise Security, Engineering, Customer Service, Operational Services, Finance, and other corporate functions. This role requires deep expertise in full cycle recruiting, strong business acumen, and the ability to influence hiring decisions through data, market insights, and consultative guidance. The ideal candidate brings experience recruiting for complex technical roles and is proficient in SuccessFactors or similar enterprise applicant tracking systems.
You will collaborate closely with hiring managers, HR partners, and business leaders to design and execute effective talent strategies that support organizational growth. Success in this role includes establishing clear service level expectations, expanding your presence with client groups, and delivering consistent, compliant, and high-quality recruiting experience. This position requires independent judgment, a solution-oriented mindset, and the ability to navigate a fast paced, evolving environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead full cycle recruitment for technical and engineering roles, using advanced sourcing strategies, effective screening practices, and recruitment marketing to attract top and passive talent.
- Partner with hiring managers to define role requirements, set service level expectations, shape recruiting strategies, and provide data driven, consultative guidance throughout the hiring process.
- Collaborate across HR including HR Business Partners, Compensation, and Benefits to ensure alignment, consistency, and seamless candidate and employee experience.
- Manage requisitions and workflows within SuccessFactors (or similar ATS), ensuring accuracy, compliance, and adherence to all company policies and federal/state employment laws.
- Build and maintain strong talent pipelines through proactive outreach, networking, field engagement, and ongoing relationship building with technical communities and client groups.
- Analyze recruiting metrics, labor market trends, and competitive insights to influence hiring decisions and continuously improve talent acquisition outcomes.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Five or more years of experience in full cycle recruitment, including sourcing, crafting job postings, and building recruitment strategies.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience recruiting across multiple job families, including niche or hard to fill technical roles.
- Strong understanding of recruiting technologies, sourcing tools, and talent intelligence platforms.
- Ability to interpret recruiting data and translate insights into actionable recommendations.
- Proven consultative approach with hiring managers and cross functional partners.
- Strong knowledge of federal and state employment laws and compliance requirements.
- Exceptional communication, influencing, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast paced environment while managing multiple priorities.
- Experience in SuccessFactors Recruiting Module preferred.
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
