Overview:
At Spectrum Killian, we’re raising the standard in restorative dentistry through exceptional craftsmanship, cutting-edge innovation, and trusted partnerships. We’re seeking a strategic, relationship-driven Strategic Account Executive to own and expand high-value corporate partnerships, dental groups, and enterprise-level accounts.
In this role, you’ll serve as the primary strategic partner to senior client stakeholders, including executives and C-suite leaders. You’ll develop comprehensive account strategies, lead Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs), identify opportunities for revenue growth, and ensure Spectrum Killian consistently delivers measurable value across each partnership.
You’ll also provide leadership and direction to one or more Account Managers responsible for driving growth and engagement at the individual practice level.
This is an opportunity for a commercially minded relationship leader who can balance executive-level strategy with hands-on execution. As Spectrum Killian continues to grow, this role offers meaningful visibility across the organization and strong potential for career advancement into senior commercial or strategic account leadership.
What You'll Be Responsible For:
- Own the overall strategy, performance, retention, and growth of assigned corporate, enterprise, and strategic accounts.
- Build trusted relationships with C-suite executives, corporate leadership teams, clinical leaders, procurement partners, and other key decision-makers.
- Develop comprehensive account plans that align client priorities with Spectrum Killian’s capabilities, growth objectives, and long-term partnership strategy.
- Lead Quarterly Business Reviews and executive-level meetings to evaluate account performance, review service and operational metrics, address challenges, and identify opportunities for expansion.
- Translate account data, case volume, revenue trends, service performance, and client feedback into clear recommendations and action plans.
- Identify opportunities to expand account value through additional locations, products, services, case types, clinical workflows, and customized solutions.
- Partner with client leadership to establish shared goals, success metrics, implementation plans, and accountability across the relationship.
- Collaborate with strategic partners on sponsorships, educational programs, industry events, marketing initiatives, and other mutually beneficial opportunities.
- Lead and provide strategic direction to one or more Account Managers responsible for supporting individual practices and driving location-level engagement, adoption, retention, and growth.
- Establish clear priorities and account-level objectives for Account Managers while monitoring progress, removing roadblocks, and ensuring consistent execution across the partnership.
- Coordinate closely with Customer Experience, Production, Design, Quality, Marketing, Operations, and Finance to ensure client commitments are executed successfully.
- Serve as the primary escalation point for complex account matters, mobilizing internal stakeholders and developing solutions that protect the client relationship and support long-term success.
- Deliver Spectrum Killian’s signature “Platinum Experience” through responsive communication, proactive account leadership, and highly personalized service.
- Maintain accurate and timely CRM records, including stakeholder relationships, account plans, growth opportunities, action items, risks, and next steps.
- Develop account forecasts and regularly report on revenue, case volume, retention, location engagement, service performance, and growth initiatives.
- Bring customer and market insights to leadership to help shape commercial strategy, service improvements, partnership models, and future products and solutions.
- Negotiate partnership terms, pricing structures, service expectations, and growth commitments in collaboration with internal leadership.
- Consistently meet or exceed strategic account retention, expansion, revenue, and profitability goals.
Who We’re Looking For:
- 4+ years of experience in strategic account management, enterprise account management, key account management, customer success, business development, or a similar client-facing commercial role.
- Demonstrated success managing and expanding complex, high-value, multi-location, corporate, or enterprise-level accounts.
- Experience building credibility and maintaining relationships with senior executives and C-suite decision-makers.
- Strong executive presence with the ability to lead QBRs, deliver polished presentations, navigate difficult conversations, and communicate strategic recommendations clearly.
- Proven ability to develop and execute account strategies that improve retention, increase adoption, and drive measurable revenue growth.
- Experience leading, mentoring, or providing strategic direction to Account Managers or cross-functional partners.
- Commercially minded and data-driven, with the ability to evaluate account performance, identify growth opportunities, and balance client needs with business objectives.
- Strategic thinker who can understand the broader partnership while remaining close enough to the details to ensure strong execution.
- Highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple complex accounts, executive stakeholders, competing priorities, and cross-functional initiatives.
- Proactive problem solver who anticipates risks, takes ownership, and follows through until challenges are fully resolved.
- Collaborative and influential, with the ability to align Customer Experience, Operations, Production, Design, Quality, Marketing, Finance, and Sales around shared account objectives.
- Customer-centric, with a genuine interest in helping dental organizations and practices achieve their clinical and business goals.
- Experience in the dental, medical device, healthcare, laboratory, manufacturing, or another complex service-based industry is preferred but not required.
- Strong understanding of dental terminology, products, and workflows—or the ability and willingness to quickly learn technical concepts.
- Proficient in CRM systems and Microsoft Office, including Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint.
