Salary: $150,000-$180,000 + Benefits

Allegiance Group are partnering with a leading General Contractor based in Stamford, CT, to appoint an experienced Superintendent to join their team.

The successful candidate will play a critical role in the delivery of a large-scale multifamily development, taking responsibility for the day-to-day field operations and working closely with the Project Manager, subcontractors, consultants, and wider project team.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Superintendent to take ownership of a significant project and play a key role in delivering it safely, on schedule, and to the highest standards of quality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and oversee all day-to-day field operations on a large-scale multifamily project.
• Coordinate and manage subcontractors, vendors, and onsite trades.
• Work closely with the Project Manager to ensure the project remains on schedule and within budget.
• Develop and maintain short-term and look-ahead schedules.
• Coordinate sequencing and logistics across multiple trades.
• Monitor workmanship and ensure construction is completed in accordance with drawings, specifications, and applicable codes.
• Conduct regular site inspections and identify potential issues before they impact the project.
• Lead daily coordination meetings and maintain clear communication with subcontractors and the project team.
• Review plans, drawings, specifications, and details to ensure accurate execution in the field.
• Coordinate inspections and work with relevant authorities, consultants, and project stakeholders.
• Maintain a safe and organized jobsite and enforce all site safety policies and procedures.
• Track project progress and communicate updates, delays, and potential issues to the Project Manager.
• Assist with quality control, punch lists, closeout, and final turnover.
• Maintain strong relationships with subcontractors and ensure accountability for performance and schedule.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience as a Construction Superintendent, ideally with a General Contractor.
• Proven experience overseeing multifamily, residential, mixed-use, or large-scale commercial construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction means, methods, sequencing, and site logistics.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Strong understanding of scheduling and subcontractor coordination.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to proactively identify and resolve field issues.
• Experience with Procore or similar construction management software is preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is preferred but not required.

• Experience delivering large-scale multifamily developments is highly desirable, particularly for candidates who have managed projects from the early stages of construction through completion.
