Full job description
We are seeking an experienced Talent Acquisition Manager to lead recruiting efforts and develop talent acquisition programs that support the organization’s ongoing growth. This role will oversee a team of recruiting professionals while partnering closely with business leaders to develop effective hiring strategies, strengthen talent pipelines, and improve the overall candidate experience.
The ideal candidate is a strategic and hands-on talent acquisition leader who can build strong relationships, drive accountability, and successfully manage both day-to-day recruiting operations and longer-term talent programs.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of recruiters and recruiting coordinators.
- Partner with business leaders and hiring managers to understand workforce needs and develop tailored recruiting strategies.
- Oversee recruiting activities across a variety of functions and levels.
- Develop and implement internship, early-career, and emerging talent programs to build long-term talent pipelines.
- Establish relationships with universities, technical schools, professional organizations, workforce development programs, and other external talent sources.
- Identify opportunities to improve sourcing, selection, recruiting processes, and overall team performance.
- Promote accountability, collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement within the Talent Acquisition function.
- Monitor recruiting metrics and provide leadership with updates, insights, and recommendations.
- Strengthen the employer brand and ensure a consistent, engaging candidate experience.
- Develop training and resources to help hiring managers become more effective participants in the recruiting process.
- Manage relationships with external recruiting partners and vendors as needed.
- Lead recruiting projects and initiatives from initial planning through implementation.
Qualifications
- 7+ years of progressive Talent Acquisition/recruiting experience.
- 3+ years of experience managing and developing direct reports.
- Demonstrated success leading and developing high-performing recruiting teams.
- Experience designing, launching, or managing internship, early-career, apprenticeship, or similar talent development programs.
- Experience building strategic relationships with educational institutions, professional organizations, or other external talent partners.
- Strong knowledge of sourcing, candidate assessment, and selection strategies.
- Proven ability to lead large-scale recruiting initiatives and projects.
- Strong relationship-building, communication, and influencing skills.
- Ability to drive accountability and execute in a fast-paced, matrixed environment.
- Demonstrated career progression and stability in previous roles.
- Strong project management and organizational skills.
