Position Summary


We are seeking an energetic and highly organized Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our Human Resources team. This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career recruiting professional who wants to develop broad talent acquisition experience within a fast-paced consumer products organization.


The Talent Acquisition Specialist will support the full recruitment lifecycle, including candidate sourcing, resume screening, interview coordination, candidate communication, and onboarding activities. The position will recruit for a variety of roles across areas such as Sales, eCommerce, Digital Marketing, Product Development, Design, Operations, Supply Chain, Finance, and Administration.


The ideal candidate is personable, resourceful, detail-oriented, comfortable communicating with candidates and hiring managers, and eager to develop a career in Talent Acquisition and Human Resources.


Key Responsibilities

  • Support full-cycle recruiting activities for entry-level through mid-level positions across multiple departments.
  • Partner with hiring managers and HR leadership to understand position requirements, candidate profiles, and hiring priorities.
  • Post and maintain job openings across LinkedIn, Indeed, college career sites, and other recruiting platforms.
  • Proactively source potential candidates using LinkedIn Recruiter, resume databases, employee referrals, networking, and other sourcing methods.
  • Review resumes and applications to identify candidates who meet position requirements.
  • Conduct initial phone and video screens to assess candidates' experience, communication skills, career interests, compensation expectations, and overall fit.
  • Coordinate interviews between candidates and hiring managers and maintain timely communication throughout the interview process.
  • Maintain accurate candidate records and recruiting activity within the company's Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
  • Assist with drafting job descriptions and ensuring postings accurately reflect position responsibilities and qualifications.
  • Develop candidate pipelines for frequently hired positions, including Sales, eCommerce, Marketing, Operations, and administrative roles.
  • Support relationships with colleges, universities, career centers, staffing partners, and other recruiting sources.
  • Participate in career fairs, recruiting events, and internship or entry-level recruiting initiatives.
  • Assist with reference checks, background screening coordination, offer preparation, and pre-employment documentation.
  • Support new-hire onboarding and coordinate with HR to ensure a smooth transition from candidate to employee.
  • Track recruiting metrics, including candidate pipelines, interview activity, time-to-fill, and source effectiveness.
  • Provide a positive and professional candidate experience throughout the recruiting process.
  • Assist the HR team with additional talent acquisition and HR projects as needed.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, Communications, or a related field preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience recruiting staff professionals and managers within consumer products, professional services, eCommerce or related areas.
  • Experience in using AI to create operational efficiencies, time / cost savings and process reform
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with candidates and hiring managers.
  • Comfortable conducting candidate phone and video interviews.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple open positions and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Familiarity with LinkedIn, Indeed, Applicant Tracking Systems, or other recruiting platforms is preferred.
