VP of Tax @ Multi-Media Firm

A client of ours is a Global Multi-Media Firm that has opened a new role on their team. Seeking an experienced Tax Professional with 15+years to be the lead for the firm, reporting to CFO. This professional will work with Front Office Sales, Operations, and Finance along with internal stakeholders. Responsibilities include Tax Compliance, Reporting, M&A Tax Diligence, Tax Risk and Strategy.

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Responsible for Strategic Planning and Tax Reporting working with outside advisors
• Analyze and lead tax structing and planning
• Assist during tax diligence for M&A transactions, specifically entity structuring and tax forecasting.
• Assist with Monitor Global tax developments (ex. legislation, regulations, changes in business operations) and communicate the necessary recommendations to management.
• Proactively identify all global tax requirements and ensure compliance.
• Evaluation of financing transactions, assist executives understand the various tax impacts, as well as work with outside advisors to recommend and execute the optimal structure tax for the company.

Requirements:

• 12+ years of related tax experience with at least five years in a public accounting firm
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required, Master's is a plus
• CPA or JD is preferred.
• Partnership/ Pass through Entity is a must
• Experienced with Partner Capital Account Models and Owners Stock Equity Accounts
