What happens when you open or apply
Selecting a job card or an “Apply on original listing” button opens a new browser tab. That tab first requests an opaque Workwise outbound route. Our server validates the listing identifier and returns the source URL supplied for that job. A job-card click also keeps the job description available in the original workwise.care tab.
The external listing provider may then direct the new tab to an employer, recruiter, or applicant-tracking website. Those external operators control the final destination and application experience.
Information involved in an external-link request
The Workwise request can create a routine server record containing the listing identifier, IP address, browser or device details, referring page, request time, and security or diagnostic data. We use that information to return the correct destination and operate, maintain, and secure the service.
When your browser connects to an external listing or application service, that operator may separately process an IP address, browser and device details, referring URL, dates and times, identifiers, cookies, or later application events under its own privacy notice.
Workwise does not receive the application you submit on an external site. Read our Privacy Notice for details about the limited information processed by Workwise itself.
Listings and independent services
A listing’s presence does not mean Workwise employs or represents the listed company or has verified every statement in the advertisement. Listing content is supplied through an external feed, and the employer remains responsible for its advertisement and hiring process.
Workwise search uses text relevance, location matching, recency, and stable tie-breakers. Always confirm the employer, role, requirements, location, pay, and availability on the source listing before applying.
What Workwise does not control
Workwise does not control an external operator’s:
- site availability, accessibility, or security;
- privacy notice, terms, cookies, or tracking technologies;
- application questions, account requirements, or hiring process;
- communications, interviews, offers, or employment decisions; or
- continued availability or accuracy of a job advertisement.
Confirm the destination web address and employer before providing personal information. Never pay someone to submit a job application.
Your choice and browser controls
If you do not want an external service to receive a request from your browser, use “View full description” and do not select a job card or “Apply on original listing” button.
Browser settings may let you block or clear third-party cookies and other storage. Those controls can affect an external application site’s functionality. Privacy requests about information controlled by an external destination should be sent to that operator.
Questions and listing reports
Contact Workwise Solutions Inc. if a listing appears fraudulent, the destination does not match the preview, or an external link behaves unexpectedly. Include the Workwise listing-page address if available, but do not send sensitive application or identity information.
The Terms of Use provide additional rules and limitations for workwise.care. We may revise this notice when the outbound-link flow changes and will update the revised date above.
