Scope and who operates this service
This notice applies to the public workwise.care website and the job search, listing-preview, directory, and outbound-link features it provides. workwise.care is operated by Workwise Solutions Inc. (referred to as “Workwise,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).
Workwise is a job-discovery service. We are not the employer or recruiter identified in a listing, and this notice does not govern Appcast, an employer, a recruiting service, an applicant-tracking system, or another website you visit after leaving Workwise.
Information we process
The current service does not require an account and does not offer résumé uploads, saved searches, newsletters, SMS alerts, or a direct application form. We therefore do not ask you to submit a name, résumé, phone number, or application to use the site.
- Search details
- Keywords, location text, filters, and page selections that you place in the search form. These values become part of the page address and can appear in browser history, copied links, and routine request logs.
- Technical data
- Internet Protocol address, browser and device type, operating system, referring page, requested page, request time, response status, and diagnostic or security information processed by our website and hosting infrastructure.
- Outbound activity
- The opaque listing identifier requested through our outbound redirect, along with the routine request information described above. This tells our systems which destination to return.
- Job information
- Titles, companies, locations, descriptions, dates, categories, and destination details supplied through the job feed. This is listing content rather than information you submit about yourself.
How we use information
We process information as reasonably necessary to:
- return search results, listing pages, and job directories;
- resolve the destination for a job you choose to visit;
- operate, maintain, test, and improve service reliability;
- help prevent, investigate, or respond to suspected invalid traffic, artificial clicks, security threats, errors, and misuse;
- understand aggregate service performance and demand;
- enforce our terms, protect people and property, and establish or defend legal claims; and
- comply with law and valid legal process.
We do not use Workwise search entries to make employment decisions. Employers and destination services make their own decisions under their own practices.
Cookies, analytics, and browser storage
As of the effective date, Workwise does not run client-side audience analytics, advertising pixels, or cross-site behavioral advertising, and it does not intentionally set analytics or advertising cookies. The current service also does not use local browser storage to build a user profile. Routine server requests can still generate the technical logs described above without using cookies.
If we add analytics, advertising technology, accounts, alerts, or similar features, we will update this notice and provide consent or opt-out controls when required before or when the new processing begins.
External sites may use cookies, pixels, or similar technologies after you choose to leave workwise.care. Your browser settings and the privacy controls offered by those sites apply to that activity.
Outbound job links and Appcast
Selecting a job card or an “Apply on original listing” button opens a new tab through a workwise.care redirect to an Appcast URL. A job-card click also keeps the description available in the original tab.
When your browser connects to Appcast and a later employer, recruiting, or applicant-tracking destination, those operators may separately receive information such as an IP address, browser and device details, referring URL, click time, tracking identifiers, and subsequent application activity. Appcast describes its use of cookies, web beacons, pseudonymous identifiers, and advertising partners in its privacy policy.
Workwise does not receive the application you submit at a destination site. Appcast and destination operators determine their own collection, use, sharing, retention, and privacy choices. Read their notices before providing application or sensitive information. See our external job-link notice for a fuller explanation of how those links work.
When information may be disclosed
Information may be made available in these circumstances:
- Infrastructure and professional support. Vendors may process data to host, secure, maintain, or advise on the service, subject to applicable agreements and duties.
- User-directed destinations. When you select a job card or use an “Apply on original listing” button, your browser connects with Appcast and subsequent destination operators as described above.
- Legal and safety needs. We may preserve or disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with law or valid process, investigate fraud or abuse, protect rights and safety, or establish and defend legal claims.
- Business changes. Information may be reviewed or transferred in connection with financing, reorganization, merger, acquisition, or sale of all or part of the service, subject to appropriate confidentiality and notice obligations.
workwise.care does not sell lists of visitor information for money and does not use information collected on workwise.care to target advertising based on activity across unrelated sites. Appcast and destination sites independently control the information they receive after you choose to open an external listing.
Retention
We keep personal information only for as long as reasonably needed for the purpose for which it was processed, including site delivery, security, debugging, fraud prevention, contractual requirements, dispute resolution, and legal obligations. The period varies with the type of record and the settings of the infrastructure provider.
In setting a period, we consider the amount and sensitivity of the data, the risk of misuse, operational need, whether the purpose can be achieved another way, and applicable legal or contractual requirements. Security, legal-request, and dispute records may be retained longer where necessary. Cached job-feed records concern job inventory and are refreshed or replaced as the source feed changes.
Your choices and privacy rights
You can use “View full description” to read a job on Workwise without opening an outbound job link. You can also clear browser history and site data through your browser and avoid placing sensitive information in search fields.
Depending on where you live and subject to legal exceptions, you may have rights to request access to, correction or deletion of, or a portable copy of personal information; to learn about disclosures; to opt out of certain sale, sharing, or targeted-advertising activity; and to appeal a denied request. We will not discriminate against you for exercising a legally protected privacy right.
Send a request to support@workwise.care. State the right you wish to exercise and your place of residence. We may ask for information reasonably necessary to verify the request and protect against fraudulent access. Because the current service has no user accounts and routine logs may not identify a person by name, we may be unable to connect a request to a particular log record. Authorized agents may submit requests where applicable, but we may require proof of authority and direct verification.
Workwise does not currently deploy browser-based advertising cookies. Where a legally recognized browser opt-out signal applies to processing controlled by Workwise, we will treat it as an opt-out request as required by law. Requests about Appcast or an employer destination must also be directed to that operator.
Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect information in our control. Those measures include limiting the information exposed to the browser, validating outbound destinations, and using encrypted HTTPS connections in production.
No internet transmission, redirect chain, or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure. Be cautious when a destination asks for sensitive information, verify the employer and web address, and report suspicious behavior to us.
Age eligibility and children
Workwise is intended for people who are at least 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a person under that age has provided personal information to Workwise, contact us so we can review and, where appropriate, remove it.
An external employer or application service may set a different age or eligibility requirement. Review the listing and destination terms before applying.
Processing across locations
Workwise and its providers may process information in the United States and other locations where they operate. Privacy protections can differ by location. Where applicable law requires a transfer mechanism or additional safeguard for processing controlled by Workwise, we will use the required mechanism or safeguard.
Changes to this notice
We may update this notice as the service, vendors, or law changes. We will post the revised notice here and update the revised date. If a change materially affects how we use information, we will provide an additional on-site notice before or when the change takes effect when reasonably practicable or when required by law.
Questions, complaints, and privacy requests can be sent using the contact information below.
