Salary: $70,000–$85,000 + Bonus

Location: Joliet, IL

Schedule: On the road 5 days per week

Focus: Sales | Buying | Customer Service | Material Handling

AWS/CES is seeking an Account Representative to join our client’s team in the Joliet/Chicago area. This is a hands-on position that combines sales, purchasing, customer service, and material handling.

The ideal candidate is comfortable being on the road, working directly with customers and suppliers, handling cash, and performing physical/manual work when needed.

What You’ll Do

• Travel throughout the area 5 days per week to purchase and source products
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and suppliers
• Negotiate purchases and pricing
• Purchase products and transport them back to the Joliet warehouse
• Assist with receiving, sorting, loading, and unloading materials
• Provide excellent customer service
• Handle cash and complete transactions accurately
• Support sales and purchasing activities
• Maintain accurate records and documentation
• Work safely and efficiently in a hands-on environment

What We’re Looking For

• Previous experience in sales, purchasing, buying, customer service, or material handling
• Comfortable working on the road 5 days per week
• Comfortable performing manual labor and lifting/handling materials
• Comfortable handling cash and completing financial transactions
• Strong communication and negotiation skills
• Reliable, self-motivated, and organized
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

Preferred Experience

Experience with catalytic converters, scrap metal, automotive recycling, salvage yards, junk yards, or similar industries is highly preferred.
