Accounting Supervisor

VOA Illinois is looking for an Accounting Supervisor to join our team in Chicago and play a critical role in overseeing accounting operations, financial reporting, payroll analysis, and the month-end close process.

What You'll Do

As our Accounting Supervisor, you will:

• Lead accounting operations, including month-end close and financial reporting
• Oversee general ledger, payroll, billing, and accounts receivable functions
• Manage grant accounting, reconciliations, financial analysis, and forecasting
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and organizational policies
• Analyze revenues, fixed assets, and cost allocations

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance and 4+ years of progressive accounting experience
• Strong knowledge of GAAP principles and financial reporting
• Experience with grant accounting and OMB Uniform Guidance for Federal Awards
