Full job description

About The Role

We are seeking a specialist-level contractor to provide shared support across UCAN Ads Measurement Team(s) for a leading global streaming company.

This role will help both teams scale recurring measurement and insights work, including benchmark and case study refreshes, historical and competitive analysis, data sourcing for narratives, survey support, and report and insight updates.

The ideal candidate has a strong foundation in advertising measurement and media research, is comfortable working hands-on with data and research tools, and can translate analysis into clear, compelling insights. This role will sit across teams and priorities rather than being dedicated to a single area, providing flexible analytical support where it can have the greatest impact.

Key Responsibilities

  • Benchmark & Case Study Development: Refresh and maintain measurement benchmarks, case studies, and supporting materials using completed campaign analyses and historical data.
  • Data Sourcing & Narrative Support: Source, analyze, and synthesize internal and external data to support broader Ads measurement narratives and sales-facing materials.
  • Historical & Competitive Analysis: Run analyses using tools such as NPower, Nielsen National TV, and VideoAmp VXM-C to evaluate historical and competitive performance, including ratings and audience trends around Live events and other priority programming.
  • Reporting & Insights: Update recurring reports and analyses with the latest data, identify notable trends, and translate findings into clear, actionable insights.
  • Survey Support: Support survey development and writing for measurement and research initiatives, applying strong research and questionnaire-design fundamentals.
  • Measurement Support: Assist with campaign measurement analyses across brand effectiveness, reach, conversion, and other advertiser outcomes as needed.
  • Scalable Resources: Help standardize and maintain reusable insights, benchmarks, templates, and materials that reduce duplicative work across Measurement and Sales.
  • Cross-Functional Support: Partner flexibly across Measurement Client Services and Live & Total Audience Narrative teams, shifting between projects and priorities based on business needs.

Desired Skills & Experience

  • 5-7 years of experience in advertising measurement, media research, marketing analytics, or a related field; digital advertising, streaming, or traditional TV experience is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of advertising effectiveness and media measurement, including brand effectiveness, audience/reach measurement, conversion measurement, and campaign performance.
  • Experience working with media and audience measurement tools such as NPower, Nielsen National TV, VideoAmp VXM-C, or comparable platforms is strongly preferred.
  • Strong analytical skills and experience working with multiple data sources to identify trends, contextualize performance, and develop insights.
  • Experience supporting survey design, questionnaire development, and/or primary research is a plus.
  • Ability to synthesize complex data into clear, concise narratives and client- or sales-ready insights.
  • Experience developing or refreshing benchmarks, case studies, recurring reports, and research materials.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to independently manage multiple workstreams and shifting priorities.
  • Experience leveraging AI tools to improve efficiency, accelerate analysis, and scale the development of insights and deliverables.
  • Collaborative, curious, and comfortable operating across teams rather than owning a single dedicated workstream.

Pay Rate Range

  • $70-$80/hour on W-2
