Litigation Attorney | Chicago, IL | Hybrid | $130K–$160K + Bonus

A well-established Chicago litigation firm is growing its team and is seeking a Litigation Attorney to join its collaborative practice. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney with a strong civil litigation background who is looking for meaningful responsibility, high-quality work, and long-term growth within a respected firm.

The Opportunity:

• Title: Litigation Attorney
• Location: Chicago Loop
• Schedule: Hybrid with a highly flexible work-from-home arrangement
• Compensation: $130,000–$160,000 + bonus
• Billable Requirement: 1,900 hours annually
• Experience: 3+ years of civil litigation experience; 5–8+ years ideal

What You'll Do:

The attorney will have the opportunity to independently manage substantive litigation matters and work across a variety of complex civil defense and insurance-related cases, including:

• Drafting and arguing dispositive motions
• Taking and defending party and expert depositions
• Preparing coverage opinions
• Managing cases through litigation and resolution
• Assisting with trial preparation
• Handling matters involving construction, property and casualty, professional liability, serious personal injury, wrongful death, civil rights, and other areas of civil defense

What We're Looking For:

• 3+ years of experience in civil litigation or insurance defense
• Strong foundation in civil litigation
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to independently manage substantive legal matters
• Strong judgment, initiative, and attention to detail
• Insurance coverage experience is preferred, but not required
• Candidates with 5+ years of experience are especially encouraged to apply
