About the Role

Clifford & Bradford Insurance Agency is looking for an experienced Commercial Lines Account Executive to join our team.

This position is ideal for an insurance professional who wants to expand their commercial lines knowledge, take greater ownership of client relationships, and grow within an established agency.

As a Commercial Lines Account Executive, you will manage the day-to-day service and insurance needs of assigned commercial clients while working closely with Producers, carriers, and internal team members. You will play an important role in renewals, marketing, coverage analysis, client service, and maintaining strong, long-term client relationships.

What You'll Be Doing

• Manage the marketing and renewal process for assigned commercial accounts
• Work with insurance carriers to obtain quotes, negotiate terms, and identify appropriate coverage options
• Gather and review client information needed for new business and renewals
• Prepare proposals, presentations, summaries, and other client-facing materials
• Review insurance coverage and identify potential gaps or additional coverage needs
• Provide clients with coverage information and recommendations
• Process and coordinate policy changes, endorsements, certificates, and other service requests
• Respond to client questions regarding coverage, billing, claims, and policy administration
• Work closely with Producers and other members of the service team to provide a seamless client experience
• Maintain accurate and complete client and policy information in the agency management system
• Follow up with clients, carriers, and internal team members to ensure deadlines and service commitments are met
• Maintain thorough documentation and follow established agency workflows and quality-control procedures
• Protect confidential client and agency information

Position Requirements

• 3–5 years of insurance industry experience preferred, with commercial lines experience strongly preferred
• Active California Property & Casualty insurance license required
• Strong knowledge of commercial insurance products, terminology, and servicing practices
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• College degree or additional insurance education/designations are a plus
• Must maintain any licenses required for the position
