Our client, a global Real Estate asset manager with over $600 billion in assets under management, and a 120-year history, is seeking a Conference Center Manager. The position is based on site in downtown Manhattan.


Who You Are

  • You have 5+ years of experience in hospitality, catering, conference center operations, or a related service environment
  • Bachelor’s degree required; Hospitality or Business degree preferred
  • Experienced leading and developing client-facing teams
  • Comfortable managing large events, multiple vendors, and senior executive interactions
  • Strong communicator with excellent organization, prioritization, and problem-solving skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Outlook and Excel
  • Calm under pressure and confident enforcing service standards and procedures


What You’ll Do

  • Oversee daily conference center, catering, and reception operations
  • Lead, hire, onboard, and develop Catering and Reception teams
  • Manage executive meetings, special events, town halls, receptions, and employee functions
  • Coordinate with meeting hosts and vendors while troubleshooting last-minute changes and service issues
  • Inspect meeting and event setups to maintain high service and presentation standards
  • Address guest concerns and provide effective service recovery
  • Develop and improve SOPs while ensuring consistent execution across the team

  • Hospitality teams operate with strong accountability, communication, and attention to detail
  • Conference center and catering processes are efficient, consistent, and well managed


Salary Range: $120,000 – 130,000 annually, based on experience


Location: Downtown Manhattan, NY – On site
