Construction Project Manager

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking a Project Manager with 5+ years of construction experience; healthcare construction experience a plus. This role owns the direction, execution, and financial outcome of construction projects across healthcare and commercial sectors, managing day-to-day operations, budgets, schedules, and risk across multiple projects. The ideal candidate can lead and mentor junior staff, including Project Engineers and Superintendents.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage project acquisition from client contact through award, including site surveys, subcontractor selection, and proposals
• Mentor project engineers, superintendents, and field coordinators
• Develop and track project budgets (labor, materials, subcontractors)
• Build and manage master schedules, timelines, and milestones
• Implement and enforce project safety plans with the Superintendent and Safety Department
• Ensure timely permitting and manage inspection schedules
• Prepare monthly project status reports for leadership and clients
• Submit Owner pay applications; review and approve subcontractor pay applications and invoices
• Prepare Owner and subcontractor change orders
• Oversee submittals and the project closeout process
• Maintain strong relationships with clients, architects, subcontractors, and city officials
• Flag potential sales opportunities to leadership

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management/Engineering preferred, or equivalent experience
• 5+ years of construction industry experience in a similar role
• Proficient in MS Office 365 and project management/scheduling software (Procore, Prolog, Suretrack, etc.)
• Strong verbal, written, and organizational skills
• Solid understanding of construction accounting principles
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
• Healthcare/medical project experience and knowledge of ICRA preferred
