Project Manager – Healthcare Construction


Location: Los Angeles / Orange County, CA

Salary: $125,000 – $155,000 DOE

Cannon Building is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead complex healthcare construction projects throughout Los Angeles and Orange County. If you have a strong background managing OSHPD/HCAI healthcare projects, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and are passionate about delivering high-quality projects, we'd love to hear from you.


What You'll Do
  • Lead healthcare construction projects from preconstruction through closeout.
  • Manage project budgets, schedules, subcontractors, RFIs, submittals, change orders, and client communications.
  • Collaborate with Superintendents, Project Engineers, architects, owners, and consultants to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Oversee project documentation using Procore and other construction management software.
  • Ensure compliance with HCAI/OSHPD requirements, contract documents, quality standards, and safety regulations.
  • Mentor project team members while maintaining strong client relationships.
What We're Looking For
  • 6+ years of commercial construction project management experience.
  • Extensive Healthcare (OSHPD/HCAI) construction experience is required.
  • Proven experience managing Design-Build projects (DBIA certification is a plus).
  • Track record of successfully managing projects ranging from $500K–$20M.
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proficiency with Procore, Microsoft Office, Bluebeam, MS Project, and other construction management software.
  • Strong leadership, communication, financial management, and problem-solving skills.
