Director of Accounting

The ideal candidate will assist in all areas of operational accounting.

Responsibilities

• Maintain complete, reconciled, and thoroughly reviewed financial statements in compliance with GAAP and company policies.
• Respond to accounting and financial information requests from both finance and non-finance stakeholders, communicating findings clearly and efficiently.
• Manage key components of the month-end and period-end close process, ensuring financial reports are prepared and distributed accurately and on schedule.
• Review and analyze business transactions, with a particular focus on operating expenses and capital expenditures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, Economics, or a closely related field.
• Minimum of seven years of related accounting experience.
• MBA and/or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation preferred.
• Experience managing people, including reviewing work, providing feedback, and supporting employee development.
