Director of Real Estate

RETS Associates, on behalf of our client, a rapidly growing clean energy company developing premium electric vehicle charging infrastructure across California, is seeking a Director of Real Estate based in Redondo Beach to lead the company's site acquisition strategy. This individual will be responsible for sourcing and securing locations for new EV charging stations while managing the full real estate process—from market identification and site selection through lease negotiation and execution—in close partnership with Development, Finance, and executive leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

• Source and secure new development opportunities

• Lead site selection, underwriting, due diligence, and lease negotiations

• Build relationships with brokers, developers, and property owners

• Partner with executive leadership to drive market expansion

Qualifications:

• 8+ years of commercial real estate acquisitions, site selection, or development experience

• Strong track record negotiating and closing commercial real estate transactions

• Financial underwriting and market analysis experience

• California market knowledge and industry relationships preferred

• EV infrastructure, retail, fuel & convenience, or other multi-site development experience is a plus
