Position: Executive Assistant
Location: New York, New York, 4 days onsite
Employment Type: Full-time
Compensation: 125,000-150,000
Position Overview
An amazing tech startup is seeking a highly organized and proactive Executive Assistant to support its Co-Founders in a fast-paced, high-growth environment. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in dynamic settings, anticipates needs, and acts as a true extension of leadership. The Executive Assistant will play a critical role in ensuring operational efficiency and supporting strategic initiatives. Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
Responsibilities
- Manage complex calendars for the Co-Founders, ensuring seamless scheduling and prioritization
- Coordinate domestic travel arrangements and logistics for leadership
- Organize and stack investor and external meetings, ensuring timely follow-ups
- Prepare meeting agendas, summaries, and track action items for accountability
- Support internal and external scheduling across the leadership team
- Plan and execute company events and offsites, including vendor coordination
- Manage expenses, vendors, and administrative workflows to maintain efficiency
- Serve as the primary point of contact for day-to-day operational needs
- Identify process gaps and implement structure as the company scales
- Leverage AI tools and technology to streamline workflows and improve productivity
Required Experience/Skills
- 3+ years of experience supporting senior executives, founders, or leadership teams
- Must have experience supporting C-level executives in early-stage companies
- Must have experience in tech, startups, or high-growth environments
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Tech-savvy and comfortable using AI tools, G Suite, Slack, and related platforms
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with high attention to detail
- Ability to anticipate needs and work independently in a fast-paced setting
Preferred Experience/Skills
- Familiarity with investor relations and board meeting preparation
- High emotional intelligence and discretion when handling sensitive information
- Strong problem-solving skills and resourcefulness in ambiguous situations
- Ability to thrive in a remote-first environment with occasional in-office presence
Education Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Communications, or related field preferred
- Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered
- Continuous learning mindset with interest in technology and AI tools
