A growing organization is seeking a Financial Analyst to support financial reporting, forecasting, investor reporting, and operational analysis. This role will partner with leadership to deliver meaningful financial insights, maintain reporting compliance, and support strategic decision-making. This is a direct hire position and requires someone that can be 100% onsite in Roseville, CA. The client is only interested in local candidates at this time.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare complex financial and operational analyses to support business decisions.
- Interpret partnership agreements and perform calculations related to partner cash flow distributions.
- Maintain and analyze partnership, debt, and related-party transaction schedules.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for investors, stakeholders, and management.
- Develop quarterly forecasts and variance analyses, comparing actual results to budgets and projections.
- Support external financial reporting and investor reporting processes.
- Prepare and submit regulatory and compliance-related reporting requirements.
- Track debt obligations, developer notes, and other financing arrangements.
- Conduct internal audits and evaluate operational and financial controls.
- Prepare audit findings reports and provide recommendations for process improvements.
- Analyze actual operating results against pro forma projections and present findings to leadership.
- Collaborate with accounting and finance teams to provide analytical support and reporting as needed.
- Participate in special projects and initiatives designed to improve financial processes and reporting.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 5+ years of progressive experience in financial analysis, accounting, budgeting, financial reporting, or partnership accounting.
- Strong understanding of financial statements, forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis.
- Experience interpreting contracts, partnership agreements, or other financial/legal documents preferred.
