A growing organization is seeking a Financial Analyst to support financial reporting, forecasting, investor reporting, and operational analysis. This role will partner with leadership to deliver meaningful financial insights, maintain reporting compliance, and support strategic decision-making. This is a direct hire position and requires someone that can be 100% onsite in Roseville, CA. The client is only interested in local candidates at this time.


Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare complex financial and operational analyses to support business decisions.
  • Interpret partnership agreements and perform calculations related to partner cash flow distributions.
  • Maintain and analyze partnership, debt, and related-party transaction schedules.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for investors, stakeholders, and management.
  • Develop quarterly forecasts and variance analyses, comparing actual results to budgets and projections.
  • Support external financial reporting and investor reporting processes.
  • Prepare and submit regulatory and compliance-related reporting requirements.
  • Track debt obligations, developer notes, and other financing arrangements.
  • Conduct internal audits and evaluate operational and financial controls.
  • Prepare audit findings reports and provide recommendations for process improvements.
  • Analyze actual operating results against pro forma projections and present findings to leadership.
  • Collaborate with accounting and finance teams to provide analytical support and reporting as needed.
  • Participate in special projects and initiatives designed to improve financial processes and reporting.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of progressive experience in financial analysis, accounting, budgeting, financial reporting, or partnership accounting.
  • Strong understanding of financial statements, forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis.
  • Experience interpreting contracts, partnership agreements, or other financial/legal documents preferred.
