Financial Analyst

📍 San Francisco, CA (4 Days Onsite, 1 Day Remote) 🕒 Contract-to-Hire Opportunity

We're partnering with a well-established consumer and technology-driven organization seeking a Financial Analyst to support financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, and strategic decision-making across a large technology portfolio. This is a highly visible role that works closely with various internal and external teams to drive financial performance and support major technology initiatives.

What You'll Be Doing

• Support month-end close, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting activities across multiple business functions and strategic initiatives.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to provide financial analysis, performance insights, and decision support for operating and project-related expenditures.
• Analyze spending trends, monitor budget performance, identify risks and opportunities, and develop recommendations to improve financial outcomes.
• Manage allocations, accruals, workforce-related costs, and contractual commitments while maintaining accurate forecasts and reporting.
• Perform financial modeling, investment analysis, and process improvement initiatives to enhance planning, reporting, and operational efficiency.

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field required.
• 5+ years of experience in FP&A, financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and business support functions.
• Strong understanding of financial reporting, variance analysis, capital planning, and investment modeling.
• Advanced Excel skills required; experience with enterprise planning, reporting, and business intelligence tools preferred.
• Proven ability to support complex organizations, analyze large data sets, identify trends, and provide actionable financial recommendations.
