Role Description We are adding to our team! The Hotel Group Sales & Events Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Vineland, NJ, responsible for driving group room and event sales across Tower Hospitality’s properties. This role includes prospecting and qualifying new group business, managing existing accounts, and building relationships with corporate, leisure, and association clients. The Hotel Group Sales Manager will prepare and present proposals, negotiate contracts and rates, and collaborate with property teams to ensure seamless execution of group stays and events. Daily tasks involve coordinating with operations and revenue management, maintaining accurate sales records and forecasts, and participating in local networking and marketing activities to increase market visibility. The role also includes monitoring competitive trends, meeting sales targets, and contributing to strategic sales plans that support overall company growth.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated strength in Communication and Customer Service to interact professionally with clients, guests, and internal teams.
- Proven experience in Sales and Sales Management, including prospecting, closing business, and meeting or exceeding revenue goals.
- Working knowledge of Marketing concepts and practices to support promotional initiatives and group sales campaigns.
- Experience in hotel, hospitality, or related service industries, preferably in group sales or catering/event sales.
- Ability to analyze sales reports, market data, and pricing strategies to inform decision-making.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to handle multiple accounts and deadlines.
- Proficiency with Salesforce/Delphi and hotel PMS systems, as well as standard office software (e.g., Microsoft Office or similar tools).
- Associate or bachelor’s degree in business, hospitality management, marketing, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
