World class manufacturer and key business unit within a publicly traded corporation with record revenues and profits in 2025. This B2B is poised for growth with strong backlog and customer relations. SBU is an engineered to spec manufacturer of products sold to global OEM markets. SBU is a best practice setting that supports continuous improvement. Growth has come from product development, expanding customer base and satisfaction, and reinvestment into infrastructure.
Be a key human resources business partner to engineering/R&D, manufacturing, quality, supply chain, sales, finance, and marketing. The ideal candidate balances employee advocacy with contract administration, grievance resolution, and strategic workforce planning. Key areas of responsibilities and contribution opportunities:
Labor Relations & Union Compliance: Administer and interpret collective bargaining agreements; participate in or lead contract negotiations, grievance handling, mediations, and arbitrations with union representatives; investigate and resolve labor complaints, disputes, and formal employee grievances.
Talent Acquisition/Employee Relations: Oversee full-cycle recruitment, including job postings, interviewing, and onboarding for union and non-union staff; manage employee relations, performance management, coaching, and disciplinary procedures in accordance with due process and union contracts; facilitate training and career pathing.
Compliance & Strategy: Maintain expert knowledge of federal, state, and local labor laws; advise supervisors and executive leadership on labor risks, contract compliance, and personnel decisions; foster a positive organizational culture and effective communication channels between staff, management, and union leadership.
REQUIREMENTS: BS required. Must have 7+ years of business experience that most recently includes labor relations and talent acquisition leadership within a manufacturing setting. Must be on-site Monday through Friday.
REWARD: $160,000 to $180,000 DOE plus excellent benefits and upside to Director level
