We are seeking a committed, dependable, and trustworthy Janitor/Porter to help maintain clean, safe, and well-kept residential properties in Queens.

About the Role

Schedule: Evening to overnight hours

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain common areas and assigned spaces
• Vacuum, mop, and sweep floors
• Collect and remove garbage and recycling
• Lift and carry garbage bags and other materials weighing 50 pounds or more
• Perform floor stripping, waxing, and deep cleaning
• Clean and disinfect surfaces and high-touch areas
• Complete light painting and plastering
• Perform additional porter and building-maintenance duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid, active driver’s license
• Must be available to work evening and overnight hours
• Must be able to lift and carry 50 pounds or more
• Previous janitorial, porter, cleaning, or building-maintenance experience is preferred
• Must be reliable, punctual, hardworking, and able to work independently
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a clean and safe environment
