Land Use & Zoning Attorney – Partner Level ($225,000–$300,000/year)

Location: Greenwich, CT

Job Type: Full-time

Experience: 7+ years

Level: Partner / Senior Attorney

We are seeking an experienced Land Use & Zoning Attorney to join and grow its Connecticut practice. This is an excellent opportunity for a senior attorney with an established portable book of business and strong Connecticut real estate development and municipal relationships.


Mandatory Requirements to Apply

  • JD from an accredited law school.
  • Active Connecticut Bar admission and good standing.
  • 7+ years of concentrated land use/zoning experience.
  • Established portable book of business and demonstrated originations.
  • Experience appearing before Connecticut zoning, planning, and land use boards.
  • Strong knowledge of zoning, permitting, variances, special permits, and site plans.
  • Excellent legal drafting, advocacy, and client-management skills.
  • New York Bar admission is a plus.


Key Responsibilities

  • Represent developers, property owners, and institutional clients in land use, zoning, and permitting matters.
  • Advocate before zoning, planning, inland wetlands, and other municipal boards.
  • Advise clients on variances, special permits, site plans, and entitlement strategies.
  • Build and expand client relationships, referral networks, and business opportunities.
  • Collaborate with Real Estate, Environmental, Litigation, and Corporate attorneys.
  • Mentor junior attorneys and contribute to firm leadership and practice growth.
