We are seeking an energetic, highly organized, and results-driven Operations Manager to oversee daily operational execution and customer fulfillment in our fast-paced New York office. Bridging high-level supply chain management with hands-on account support, this role ensures seamless order entry, inventory tracking, warehouse logistics, and exceptional service across our retail and distribution partners.


Salary Range: $90,000-$100,000

This position is Monday-Thursday In-Office with WTF Fridays

Overview

  • The ideal candidate is a self-starter who thrives in a high-volume wholesale environment and can effectively coordinate across product, planning, and logistics teams.
  • Regularly evaluate workflow performance to identify process improvements, streamline systems, and drive efficiencies.
  • Prepare and submit account-specific forms, compliance documentation, and operational reports.
  • Act as a liaison and coordinator with other departments to ensure seamless communication and execution.
  • Resolve product, shipping, or service complaints by clarifying the customer's complaint, determining the cause of the problem, selecting and explaining the best solution, expediting correction or adjustment, and following up to ensure resolution.
  • Conduct post-sale expediting and follow-up activities to ensure timely delivery, issue resolution, and customer satisfaction.
  • Open and maintain customer accounts by accurately recording and updating account information.
  • Process and enter new sales orders accurately while maintaining up-to-date customer account records.
  • Track and manage daily warehouse activity to support accurate inventory movement, fulfillment, and timely execution.
  • Monitor and maintain accurate data and systems, including order, customer, inventory, and operational information.
  • Monitor daily inbound and outbound shipments, maintaining accuracy across distribution centers and retail accounts.


Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Act as the primary operational liaison across sales, production, and planning teams.
  • Maintain accurate system data, inventory records, and order tracking across internal systems.


Qualifications & Core Competencies

  • Experience: Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in operations, supply chain, or account management (wholesale consumer goods or retail distribution experience preferred).
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent business experience.
  • Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook, with familiarity with ERP/EDI order processing systems. Proficiency in leveraging AI tools and technology to support reporting, data analysis, and operational efficiency, with the adaptability and willingness to learn and implement emerging AI solutions.
  • Multitasking & Prioritization: Proven ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
  • Leadership & Organization: Strong leadership skills, high operational discipline, and exceptional organizational abilities.
  • Communication: Superior written and verbal communication skills for effective collaboration with retail clients, vendor partners, and cross-functional teams.
  • Adaptability: Flexible, self-motivated self-starter who operates effectively under pressure and thrives in a dynamic team environment.
