We are supporting an on demand autonomous ride hailing company in hiring a Plant Issue Resolution Engineer to support manufacturing quality and vehicle build readiness for autonomous vehic


les.
This role serves as the bridge between engineering and manufacturing, leading the investigation, containment, and resolution of production issues identified during general assembly and end of line testing. The successful candidate will drive root cause analysis, implement corrective actions, and improve manufacturing processes to support quality, production efficiency, and vehicle readi

Key Responsibi

  • litiesLead the investigation, containment, and resolution of manufacturing issues affecting body and closure systems, including doors, latches, actuators, sealing systems, access panels, glazing, and body struc
  • tures.Develop and execute containment plans, including rework activities, part quarantines, and production flow prote
  • ction.Lead cross functional root cause investigations involving engineering, manufacturing, quality, suppliers, and opera
  • tions.Partner with engineering and manufacturing teams to implement permanent corrective actions and prevent recurring i
  • ssues.Support prototype builds, production trials, engineering changes, and validation activities to improve manufacturab
  • ility.Drive Design for Manufacturing improvements to improve product quality and production effic
  • iency.Develop and maintain dashboards, metrics, and reporting to monitor issue status, closure rates, recurring defects, and overall manufacturing perfor


mance.
Required Qualifi

  • cationsBachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical disc
  • ipline.6 to 8 years of experience supporting automotive OEMs, robotics, aviation, or other complex hardware manufacturing enviro
  • nments.Strong knowledge of body and closure systems, including doors, latches, actuators, sealing systems, glazing, access panels, and vehicle body stru
  • ctures.Proven experience leading root cause analysis and corrective actions in manufacturing, production, sustaining engineering, or new product launch enviro
  • nments.Strong problem solving, communication, and cross functional leadership
  • skills.Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast paced manufacturing envir


onment.
Preferred Qualif

  • icationsExperience with Design for Manufacturing pri
