SKILLS REQUIRED
- 3+ years of experience in Product Lifecycle Management (PLM), Configuration Management, or Bill of Materials (BOM) management.
- Hands-on experience creating, structuring, maintaining, and releasing multi-level BOMs.
- Experience managing Engineering Change Orders (ECO), Engineering Change Notices (ECN), part numbers, and product documentation.
- Knowledge of procurement processes, supplier management, budgeting, and purchase-to-pay (P2P) activities.
- Experience working with PLM/PDM tools such as Agile PLM, Teamcenter, Windchill, Arena PLM, or similar platforms.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and data management skills with the ability to maintain large datasets accurately.
POSITION OVERVIEW
We are seeking an experienced PLM Analyst to support engineering product development by managing Bill of Materials (BOMs), engineering changes, procurement activities, and supplier coordination. The ideal candidate will work closely with engineering, program management, procurement, finance, and supplier teams to ensure accurate product data, timely product releases, and efficient execution of development and manufacturing activities.
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Create, structure, maintain, and release Bills of Materials (BOMs) for new and existing products.
- Manage part numbers, Engineering Change Orders (ECOs), Engineering Change Notices (ECNs), technical drawings, and engineering documentation.
- Collaborate with engineering design teams to support new product development and configuration management activities.
- Partner with program managers, global commodity managers, procurement, and finance teams to manage development budgets and purchasing activities.
- Coordinate supplier communications to ensure timely purchase-to-pay processes and product compliance.
- Maintain product data integrity within PLM systems and ensure accurate engineering documentation.
- Track product changes and support engineering release processes throughout the product lifecycle.
- Manage multiple concurrent projects while balancing changing priorities and deadlines.
- Analyze large volumes of engineering and product data to ensure accuracy and consistency.
- Identify process improvement opportunities to increase efficiency within PLM and engineering operations.
EDUCATION & QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related technical field.
- 3+ years of experience in Product Lifecycle Management (PLM), Configuration Management, BOM Management, or Engineering Operations.
- Experience supporting hardware product development and engineering release processes.
- Working knowledge of PLM/PDM systems such as Agile PLM, Teamcenter, Windchill, Arena PLM, or similar tools.
- Experience with procurement coordination, supplier management, budgeting, and engineering documentation.
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel and data analysis tools.
- Excellent communication, organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving skills.
