Process Plumbing Technician

Job Summary

We are seeking a Process Plumbing Technician to install, assemble, troubleshoot, and maintain process plumbing systems for high-technology manufacturing equipment.

Key Responsibilities

• Install and route process piping and tubing.
• Read and interpret P&IDs, isometric drawings, plumbing layouts, and fabrication drawings.
• Fabricate and join plastic piping using various welding/fusion techniques.
• Perform leak testing, pressure testing, flushing, and flow verification.
• Install pipe supports, hangers, fittings, and connections.
• Troubleshoot process plumbing and equipment issues.
• Support equipment installation, startup, commissioning, and field modifications.
• Maintain accurate work documentation and a clean, safe work area.
• Follow safety and quality standards when working with chemical-process systems.

Required Skills & Experience

• Hands-on experience with PVDF, PFA/PTFE, PP, PVC, or CPVC piping.
• Experience with plastic welding/fusion and compression/flare fittings.
• Ability to read P&IDs and mechanical drawings.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with process piping, chemical delivery, UPW/DI, drains, exhaust, or wet-process systems.
• Safe use of hand and power tools.
• Experience in semiconductor, cleanroom, pharmaceutical, chemical, water-treatment, or industrial environments is preferred.
